Definition:
Power Pop art is a new form
of painting that is rule-based. A Power Pop artist is not restricted,
however, to only producing Power Pop art.
Power Pop art is produced
by an artist with a definitive paint palette of 32 colors. Each color has
been color matched from a unique item that the artist has personally
searched out and found. The search is filmed and uploaded to the Internet.
The artist is required to
explain each color of his palette along with the video on a dedicated Web
page on his Web site for that particular color.
Every painting that is
produced with the artists' exclusive Power Pop palette has its own
dedicated Web page on the artists' Web site. That page is required to have
a type of paint-by-numbers line drawing to accompany the original artwork
that references each color used in his palette. The numbers link to the
color palette pages which describe the search to find that particular
color.

If you consider yourself a Power Pop artist please send
info and we will put a link to your web site here.
